Our senses constantly cross over, working together as one Sense;
profoundly influencing how we think, feel and behave.

By considering the sounds, scents, colours, textures
and shapes around us, we can enhance every experience,

and improve almost every aspect of our lives.

A look at the power of sight.

Check out the McGurk Effect to witness some sight-ruling sensory dominance.

A look at the worlds of salt, sweet, sour, bitter, umami; and the others.

11. Dinner and Drinks A sensorial dinner party

Eating and drinking is possibly the most multi-sensory activity we engage in on a daily basis.

In the book I lay out a full immersive sensory dinner party; with sensory serves that dial up flavours and twist your taste buds. Including music playlists that pair with your wine. You can listen to them here

12. The other senses There are more than just 5. Way more.

Throughout the book we’ve been focusing on the ‘big five’ senses; but it’s not quite as simple as that. Welcome to ‘the other senses’ that we don’t tend to think about.

13. Sex Better performance, better recovery

In the book we look at the lead up to, enjoyment of, and recovery from moment of intimacy.

Take a look at some elements of the sensory prescription for sex here.
